​My name is Terrence Worthy and I'm the founder of Academia Meritorious. Since my youth, I have had a passion for teaching and basketball, and so I decided to blend the two and create this academy. I believe in the power of defense, because not only did it earn me a college scholarship, but it's precisely what got me on the court in college and kept me there. My goal now, is to show players the value of defense and how it can help them achieve their own athletic goals as well. Here at Academia Meritorious, I focus on developing the technical, analytical, and tactical skills players need to compete at an elite level on defense.
