On-ball defense is the gateway skill to earning minutes, trust, and responsibility on. the court. This program focuses on teaching players how to control the ball-handler through positioning, discipline, and timing.

Training Emphasis:

• Defensive stance, balance, and footwork

• Containment without fouling

• Angle control and leverage

• Pick-up points and ball pressure discipline

• Recovery techniques and possession finishing

Sessions are structured, progressive, and game-based, ensuring skills transfer beyond drills and into real possessions.

Learn to see the game, not react:

Film study is where defensive growth accelerates. This program teaches players how to analyze possessions, recognize patterns, and understand defensive decisions. Film helps to turn mistakes into learning moments and good habits into consistent outcomes.
